I don’t know anything about politics in Turkey.

But now I know who to support; if Elon hates him, he’s my guy.

Musk doesn’t even have a stake in this, he does this because he can and he’s unaccountable.

But can we post about Turkey here?

Musk hates democracy and the EU because they want to regulate twitter (and are generally one of the biggest pro-consumer forces), so if he supports someone in Europe they are probably on the side of weakening the EU and/or democracy.

Yes, but in Turkey? Musk is usually motivated by personal gain and approval seeking so I’m not sure how Erdogan fits into this. Yes, he’s a right wing autocrat, like almost everyone else in the area. I guess it was just a matter of remaining compliant with local laws / authorities because they have shown they can disconnect Twitter when they want.

As long as the post concerns the European part of Turkey. :) No seriously, Turkey seems close enough.
