This means that Canada is faced with the fact that they’re being attacked by a foreign power with a ruler not beholden to the rule of law. If they give in, they’re going to be conquered by a king who is not bound by a national constitution, legislative body, nor courts. This is an existential threat to their freedom as individuals with rights.

I think it’s just because people still have hope that the systems will work as usual and right the ship. I think a lot of people are waiting to see what happens with this administration’s reaction to court orders, etc. But I think that we’re going to start spawning radicalized reactionaries soon.

Americans are busy, and most of them are far too busy to spend the kind of time that i get to spend online reading and learning about this stuff. a lot of Americans (and people in general) don’t like school and didn’t do well in school. and teachers don’t get to do what they want to do. it’s all so fucking frustrating. why does America kill its education budget for the sake of advertising the military during football games?
