The Minnesota Republicans sponsoring the bill include Shane Mekeland (Clear Lake), Krista Knudsen (Lake Shore), Assistant GOP Floor Leader Walter Hudson (Albertville), Jeff Dotseth (Silver Township), Tom Murphy (Underwood), Pam Altendorf (Red Wing), Keith Allen (Kenyon), and Deputy Speaker Pro Tempore Isaac Schultz (Elmdale). Several have also sponsored a marginally less extreme bill (HF 3152) that would make administering mRNA vaccines a misdemeanor subject to a $500 penalty.

It’s like these people try and compete for the most absurd claims, if they where not doing it in the format of proposed law I would put them in the same bucket as chan trolls.

The bill compels state and local authorities to “use all lawful means necessary” to enforce its provisions, and would subject authorities to prosecution under existing weapons of mass destruction statutes if they refused to investigate alleged violations of the law.

As if this wasn’t awful enough. Were this to pass, you could spam out anonymous tips to any authorities you have a gripe with, with allegations about anyone you you want to harass, and failure to investigate any of those allegations could lead to serious prison time. And you know damn well they wouldn’t hesitate to use a law like that to target anyone that resists their insane nonsense.

So, hypothetically, this could be used to share tips that these same republican lawmakers are in possession of mRNA vaccines? 👀

I’m SO glad they included “drafted by Florida hypnotist” in the headline. We all just skim headlines sometimes, and that portion speaks volumes.

In case you have not noticed: The GOP acts as if they had been asleep for a few hundred years and just noticed with irritation that women are allowed to have an opinion and - GASP! - can vote.

You should hear some of the crazy shit I hear them say around town out here in the aticks. Full tinfoil hats. But they all have the same things in common: 1. Gullible idiots that will believe absolutely anything if it releases them from any personal responsibilities 2.generally older with too much time and too little to do. 3. Deeply unhappy despite attempts to project otherwise. 4. Confused and annoyed why others don’t like them or want to spend time with them.
