So after waiting way too long to get the money to buy a downpipe, I finally got two! I had ordered one from ARM but they said it wouldn’t get here until the end of September so I told them to cancel my order and ordered another from Integrated Engineering.

I got the latter on a Friday, and apparently ARM had a downpipe for me as well and it got to me the following Saturday.

When I went to move my car to get it on some boards so I could jack it up I found the battery completely dead. So I got a new battery.

After finally, finally getting the old downpipe off I saw the first catalytic converter completely clogged with dust, which proved that there wasn’t actually anything wrong with my turbo.

Since the IE downpipe got here first, I figured I’d just install that one and send the ARM back. But the IE one would not fit on my car. The holes were about half an inch off from where they should be.

Thankfully the ARM one fit like a glove, and now my only code is for an O2 sensor which I’m going to fix with a spacer, and my car is even better than before.
