    You have to love how a lot of companies will lie, cheat and scam their customers to squeeze out a few extra pennies, and then Dropout just openly says “wanna give us your money for nothing in return?” and we love them for it.

      Technically you do get some extra BTS and exclusive merch, and they did put some fomo by giving an early discount, but those discounts have been so normalised that it’s a non-issue for most people.

      In comparison to others I completely agree, what you get is mostly what a superfan would be interested, not some predatory enshittification.

    I think having an option to give companies more money for no reason other than you like them would create incentives to actually not be shitty
