Definitely hits his arm, I’m sure they changed the rulings from any arm touch rather than chest to arm which is what clearly happened.

So fucking clear that is a handball, it is the only thing that brings the ball in front of him. How are they STILL this bad.

He’s got a magic chest that allows the ball to deflect in front of him no matter the incoming angle instead of following the laws of physics. That is essentially what the refs are concluding.

They can’t be 100% sure of it. I’m sure they think it’s a handball but there wasn’t a conclusive angle with the stills they had.

I know it’s annoying but I just think they would have struggled to explain to the review committee that they were absolutely sure and that’s the threshold for this.

If they have all of the camera angles that we do (which they do) then there’s no way they should’ve missed that one. VAR get it together.

It’s a handball. The ball changes direction, they show a still of the ball clearly connecting with his arm. HOW THE FUCK is this given?

Because Tottenham are villains since the Liverpool game and what better time to punish us then when it doesn’t really matter? This is the real truth

I can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic or not. This does help the PGMOL/FA as at the end of the season it will just play into their “wrong calls balance out in the course of the season” narrative which, they may presume, lessens the importance of them getting calls right. Is that what you mean?

Clearly gets an advantage due to the ball hitting the hand, no? I don’t get these rules anymore

How does the ny far richest league also have by far the worst officiating and especially worst var officiating. Must be painful supporting a team in that shit tier league
