The height of El Clásico, Ronaldo v Messi and arguably the two most dominant teams of the last decade or so. However which team was more successful during this time period.

I think I lean towards Madrid barely

Let me put it this way. Barcelona biggest decade in terms of titles,Real still managed to win more CL. CL is what matters the most

I’d say Real Madrid. 4 Champions League, 3 of which were consecutive is an absolutely insane achievement. How do you win 4 in 5 years

I’m a Real Madrid fan and even I can see that Barca is clearly better. Only years we were truly better than them is 2012, probably 2014, maybe 2016 and 2017.

We had so many performances against them where we were dominated. The 5-0. The UCL Semis in 2011. And many more. When we won we usually only won by 1 and very rarely 2.

I don’t want to downplay Real, I think our team in the 2010s is the second best club side ever. Sadly, the only one in history that’s better is Barca during the same time.

3x back to back champions leagues is more difficult than anything Barca did in the same product period.

Barcelona. 2009 Barcelona is possible the best team ever. Can’t say the same for the 3peat Madrid team.

Draw. This coming from a Barca fan. First half of the decade belonged to Barca. We dominated Spanish and international football.

Second half, RM. I mean, winning the CL so many times is nothing but impressive, and should be celebrated.

With that said, forza Barca. 😁

Great question this. I think it’s open to different interpretations. Both raised the standard of modern football it’s insane how good they were.

Ha, that’s a difficult one to be honest. Because while Barcelona was obviously enjoying win after win of La Liga title over Real Madrid, Real was setting Champions League record. I’d say it’s a tight one.
