Most countries probably had no playbook for dealing with a rogue US administration. They’re still looking for all the ways they have leverage over us and while no single country could probably bring us to our knees (well, except ourselves) they could definitely band together and send us back to the Great Depression era.

Any bad decision that’s made by an exec is usually just met with nods and grins by the workers while they do what’s actually necessary and try only half heartedly to follow their edicts. Execs usually have no idea what a pilot program is and every decision they make is pure gold so why not roll it out to everybody at once.

There’s zero downside to them snatching up and detaining American citizens. They probably blew thru all of their good intel and are now simply going after anyone that doesn’t “look” American in the hopes they’re actually undocumented.

I think we’re a little ways past what is legal or illegal.

It would be great if the recall petition or initiative only applied to voters of the same party. A group of voters that didn’t want someone in the first place saying they still don’t want them is kind of silly.

CoreCivic and other private contractors don’t get paid when people are deported. They want maximum occupancy for as long as possible.

Conservatively I’d say we’re paying private companies over $3.5 million every day to house them.
