Palestine@lemmy.ml•NATO-backed Zionist bombing on food kitchen in Gaza
121·28 days agoNot to take away from the atrocities happening in Palestine, but this looks AI generated
- The cement wall has a hole blown in it, supposedly with enough force to blow over the food; yet there’s no shrapnel in the thin tin roof and the pot
- Who is the guy on the left pointing towards the rubble for?
- The IHH sign is still in perfect condition, even though there was a bombing
- The blood splatter in the food indicates a hit from the right to the left, but the bombed out area is in the background
- the helmet head strap on the worker to the right is missing

Hey now, I’m sure you’ll find another good enchiladas place! It’ll take some time, but another one will crop up so I wouldn’t worry. Enchiladas haven’t gone extinct lol. But yes, I totally agree with trying to learn how to make your own. I find great food comes from those with passion, instead of greed; so you never know - maybe you’ll make an even better enchilada recipe
I also agree with generally doing annual holidays on off days. But this Mother’s Day is going to be my wife’s first, so I had to book it for the same weekend at least lol
Something similar - I was looking to book a spa day for my wife for Mother’s Day. I just skipped over every place that wanted me to sign up to see the availabilities. Oooohhhhh wellll

World News@lemmy.world•Pope Leo speaks out against cardinal ordering blessings for gay couplesEnglish
0·2 months ago“The Holy See has made it clear that we do not agree with the formalized blessing of couples, in this case, homosexual couples, as you asked, or couples in irregular situations, beyond what was specifically, if you will, allowed for by Pope Francis in saying all people receive blessings,” he saidOr, without all the fluff
“The Holy See has made it clear that we do not agree with the formalized blessing of couples ... beyond what was specifically ... allowed for by Pope Francis in saying all people receive blessings,” he saidSo if Francis said it was ok; it’s fine. But it seems like Francis said it wasn’t fine.

If Google wants to stick with its AI push, I can’t imagine they would want to keep training 2 different models; especially if one of them could land them in more hot water down the road. While it would eventually apply to the EU, I can imagine the rollout would be global. Similar to how Apple was forced by the EU to ditch their proprietary connector for USB-C: instead of having an EU & North American model; they just adapted USB-C across all their devices
