5·1 hour agoNot to mention, the skill needed to wing his ear (or hit the glass that winged his ear) at that distance without wanting to kill him in the process, it would probably be beyond the capability of a marksman this young.

14·2 hours agoPersonally, I think the registered republican kid just had the foresight to think “hey, won’t this bankrupt moron who was friends with Epstein ruin any chance of small government Republicans ever having control again?” Like, it makes perfect sense to want to kill Trump, it doesn’t need to be a conspiracy.

politics @lemmy.world•MAGA Is Increasingly Convinced the Trump Assassination Attempt Was StagedEnglish
45·2 hours agoWell, the previous theory they held was that God redirected this bullet away from the great and holy warrior Trump and into an evil and unrepentant volunteer firefighter at his rally.
But even they are finding that harder to believe every day.
lol, the fuckin DNC with their botfarms and fake protests and actors portraying school shootings? stfu.
If the dog is the owner of the gun then the only law you have to worry about is an illegally registered firearm on your property.
Fight me, Nimrod.
If a dog is lacking key features to be considered safe storage the it is equally illegal inside or out, ignoring animal welfare laws.
Either the dog is a person and requires a permit or the dog is not a person and the gun is alone. You could even try to argue if a dog is a safe storage, to which I think it lacks several key features.
But there are laws about shipping your firearm and safe storing your firearm. It is also actually still illegal to leave a firearm alone outside without a concealed carry permit in most states (and even with one as it is not concealed).
You can’t simultaneously hold the stances that the system is corrupted by campaign funds and also that people only rationally vote based on candidate’s policies. Those a mutually exclusive beliefs. If everyone voted on policy and not optics via the media and socials, then campaign funding would have zero impact.
Dems platform is amazing, full of necessary reform and life saving changes, and taxing the fucking rich.
They walk the walk and then a legion of disingenuous assholes claim otherwise all over the media in a bid to dissuade progressive voters.

Hard disagree on this one.
You argued against expanding healthcare and somehow that makes me bad faith?
-
Ending a shutdown is not as simple as signing onto every GOP agenda, while it at times has been a mistake, but at the very least the DNC defunded the DHS.
-
The DNC also tried to ban all non-individual spending and cap individual spending in 2003, it was overruled by the SCOTUS’ Citizen United decision in 2007-2010, and part of the core DNC platform is overturning that, which would ban AIPAC funding entirely for both parties.
The DNC and their platform are progressive.
-
So you oppose giving healthcare to 70 Million people? And btw, the DNC plan was closer to German Healthcare until a lone independent required to reach 60 votes forced the current version.
It’s completely possible for only the wealthy elite to prosper even if everyone else dives into extreme poverty. That’s the way it worked for thousands of years.

Sounds like you’ve got a skill issue.
