I don’t think anyone who is against what is happening right now thinks it will just pass. We need republicans to not win shit going forward given what is ok to then. We need to all laws that put any limits or breaks on constitutional rights, even in the slightest repealed. we need to get money out of politics. We need to get rid of first past the post and the electoral college. so many things.

I mean I can’t remember specific occasions but yeah im sure dicks and assholes have helped me. They can still be dickish or such when helping but sometimes its their job or they begrudgingly do it and like your experience sometimes in certain situations they can do things without being dicks for awhile. It does not make them in general nicer persons but does show they have the capacity if they felt like being nicer in general.

So this is not my idea. Its been around for awhile. Its actually kind of two but they could be combined. One is to have a one way bike expressway where going out of the city starts high up in the city and its end destination is at ground level and the reverse for going into the city. Every so often there are egress/entrance points with stairs. The idea is that you are riding very slightly downhill. A similar thing is covered bikeways that are one way and completely covered tunnels that have negative pressure so the wind is always at your back. That could have interchanges to switch direction. Also the concept could be combined so your ride into the city is covered, downhill, and with the wind at your back. I can say this. Where I was at biking into the city seemed to be overall slightly downhill and in the morning the wind seemed to mostly be at my back and in the afternoon coming back it was reverse (slightly uphill and wind in face) combine that in the summer with the mornings being cooler and oh man biking in was way easier. I used to bike in and then bring my bike on the train for the way back (which by the way was awesome.)

Hope this becomes affordable enough to utilize. The main problem with optical disks is the length of time. Still would be nice to have something as convenient as a usb drive even if it can’t be rewritten. Disks were sorta of annoying to put some stuff on and then a bit more and a bit more.

I don’t get all the complaints here. Im so far to weak to go vegan and my wife is much worse. I like eating as little meat as possible. We don’t both need a chicken breast we can split one. Avoiding beef. I mean I understand that factory farmed meat like it or not is worse for the environment and the amount of meat the world would eat without factory farming is very small.
