Okay so here’s my problem. I support trans people, go get the surgery, take your pills, be happy.

But there are issues. First off being sports. If a female athlete takes even a single dose of testosterone, ever, and it’s caught, they’re banned for life. Why? Because testosterone creates permanent musculoskeletal changes. If someone goes through puberty as a boy and transitions later, it’s the same as if they had dosed testosterone as a female. Their bones are denser, and they have more muscle mass, period. Medical science can’t erase that.

Second, while I will make every effort to use your new pronouns and name, I will personally never consider you to be fully of the opposite sex. Biologically, you’re still rocking the same chromosomes. I would personally never date someone that transitioned to female as I would never be comfortable with it, and hoo boy it’s certainly unacceptable to some people that cis men can have their own sexual preferences.

So I guess here’s a question? Is that level of support enough? Or should I, having voted lifelong as a Democrat switch to voting Republican? Because I swear to god, I’ve met you guys as far at the midpoint as I’m comfortable with, and I’ve been very vocally told that’s not enough. So should I just drop all trans support now? Let me know through your comments, and if this earns a deleted comment or a ban, I’ll take that as, vote Trump next election.

  • As an American… you’re right. It’s been hell living my life here in a lot of ways because the vast majority of people here are basically zombies. I’m honestly just rooting for us to fail at this point, and it’s coming up rapidly. The inflation, debt, and unchecked fraud of Wall Street will get us in the end. I’d be surprised if we didn’t have a fairly major economic crash within the next 10 years.
