I collect library cards like other people collect Pokémon cards. The more I get, the more audiobooks are available to me through apps like Libby.

Grave of the Fireflies. I was around 24 years old.
I think the problem is that for a long time Tesla, and specifically Elon, went around telling everyone how great their autopilot was. Turns out that was all exaggeration and sometimes flat out lying.
They showed videos of the car driving on its own. Later, we found out it was actually being controlled remotely.
Yeah, the driver wasn’t operating the vehicle safely but, Tesla told him that he didn’t have to.
Nope! The only laws that really apply to those are which breaks are paid and which are not. If you are given any breaks, 20 minutes or less must be paid and count towards OT. Anything over can be off the clock.
My bf has a discord server with his friends too. Whenever one of this is online, they hop in the voice channel and just hang out. If someone else logs in, they chat, otherwise they just leave it up.
There’s no federal law in the US that requires them to give you a lunch break. My state doesn’t have one either.
Check your local laws. In many states, there is no requirement that you take a lunch. There is no federal requirement for that either.
I’ve had employers tell me that that I legally had to clock out for a certain amount of time, but that’s bullshit. It might be company policy but it’s not a law.
Also, this applies to teens working too. The laws are bad. Found this out when Subway was making my 16 yr old niece work 9-12 hour shifts with no lunch break.
Bad news, they are gonna end up hiring a bunch of proud boys. Also bad news, they won’t do the job right, and we’ll pay loads of money in lawsuits and end up with far too many funerals
I’m sorry but that’s not a dog. That’s a potato. Still a very good boy.
I had to look it up. I think it’s a typo. Looks like it’s about 5km north of the border. It’s a suburb of Montreal. Most of the lake is in the US, but the tip is in Canada.
I got Halloween candy at CVS today in June.
Is this what Qatar was like before the World Cup?
He is FAST. I speculate if I took the time to do agility training, he would dominate. But we’re content doing walks and cuddling on the couch for now.
It sounds like you and your wife have a healthy relationship. That’s awesome! But, for possessive and controlling relationships, surveillance can be harmful.
Personally, my location is shared with my sister. I’d share it with my partner but he is a bit of a Luddite. I wouldn’t be sharing because he asked, I would be doing it so he could find me easily in an emergency.
And, I wouldn’t ask him to share his. If he turned it on and wanted me to have it, that’s cool. And if not, that’s cool too.
Mine is not a pure ACD to be fair. Half ACD, half Dal. He’s a great watch dog, and he does do a little herding, but he doesn’t do the ankle bites. He also grew up in shelters. I adopted him at 2 years old so he may have habits from that time.
Ducky
Mine doesn’t do the ankle bites! But he’s always on watch and he barks a lot. -_-
This is a very good boy. I can tell. I have a knack for this kinda thing.
It’s a good way to break up a long drive! But uh…don’t listen with kids in the car.
Wow good ear! I didn’t notice that at first, but the narrator did model the character on Patrick Warburton! As the book progresses, Carl evolves into his own distinctive voice.
I won’t say much more about it because I don’t want to spoil it, but if you make to book 6, the real Patrick Warburton has a cameo.
To add to this:
Mid-Continent Library in the Kansas City Metro has the biggest selection that I’ve seen in this area (Kansas and Missouri). Idk about Wichita or St Louis.
You can sign up for the KC Library, Johnson County Library, and Mid-Continent Library card online if you live in an area it covers.
You can get a Johnson County Library card if you don’t live in that area, but you have to go in person to sign up.
There are also quite a few libraries around the US that will let you sign up regardless of where you live if you make a donation.
