Seems to me that they aren’t as likely to fly away when I approach slowly with a cup to trap them inside the cup, then slide a piece of paper or cardboard across the opening and release them outside. Of course only works when they land on a flat surface like a window.

Agreed. Switched from Jerboa to Connect a few days ago and, although I can see my previous post history, I cannot see the communities I am subscribed to or fund them via the Connect search

Takes some time to get used to but it’s very versatile with the instantaneous switching between fire modes and some light vehicle damage. I usually use it mid range with a 3x scope.
When did you go? How was the weather?
Doesn’t answer your question directly but those short lint fibers can be pushed into a toilet paper roll and made into firestarters that work at the campsite
