The duopoly and the media have been marketing against the greens since they formed, and the duopoly realised that there was the possibility that Australians would vote for good. They have marketed against the greens so successfully, that many Australians do not even realise why they do not vote for the greens, and why they themselves market against the greens.

Many Australians deliberately vote for ‘the lesser evil’ to keep the other evil out. As the leader of the greens, that has to at some stage become heartbreaking, because there is no logical reason that anyone would do that, when all they have to do is vote for good.

At some stage it is highly likely that will lead to significant government restrictions on open source because ‘unregulated ai’ cannot be trusted, and is always ‘escaping’ and ‘hacking’. The powers that be are already able to manipulate the general populace against open source, they don’t need our help.

I can’t help but feel sorry for David though, it has to be one of the most difficult and heartbreaking jobs in the country.
