  • You are in the exact same shoes I was in about 6 months ago. I see the post is 2 yrs by now, so you probably already got something, but I’ll answer anyways because I feel like it and it might help someone else.

    Honestly just get whatever old used player you can find that has the features you want.

    The only must have features I felt I needed was just 33/45 RPM speeds and auto return. Other than that, buy a turntable from a somewhat reputable brand. I got a Pioneer. Not sure if it is a super high quality one, but it has been working great and I spent approximately 150 EUR/USD in my local currency.

    If I still play records 2 years from now I will probably upgrade, but for now all I want to upgrade is a new stylus.
