0·21 hours agoStill, at least it’s not Demon’s Souls. Some of those run backs are just sadistic.
That swamp…
I did some googling, but I didn’t find much info other than everyone seemed to have different standards back then (this would’ve been the 1960s/1970s).

0·2 days agoThat does seem to be the direction the games have been going, and I think it must be an audience patience thing.
Demon Souls is a good example of the level being the main challenge, with the boss at the end as more of a bonus (Flamelurker being an exception). Later games, even Elden Ring, are way more boss focused.
I guess I like both, although now that you mention it, we’ve had a lot of dance move bosses lately, and it would be cool to see a new game go back to the genre’s roots.

I try to find a variety when I can, to keep it interesting.
I suppose they’re better than tarantulas… Ugh
You get dancing penguins either way.

0·17 days agoI was looking at portable induction burner recently and no mater what site I go to, I cant seem to find a picture that isn’t photoshop/AI. How am I supposed to see how big the thing is without a real human hand or a banana for scale.
It’s gotten so bad. I’m house shopping at the moment, and they’re all using AI now. It’ll hallucinate the dimensions of things from photo to photo, make up drawers/shelves/fixtures, etc. Madness.

0·17 days agoAh yes, that bedframe must be from the coveted M.C. Escher collection.
I like this one. They spend their whole life being so careful not to flip the switch by accident, not doing physical activities, not walking in big crowds, never hugging someone, only wearing certain types of clothes, etc. Then it finally happens late in life and the switch does nothing. They realize that they missed out on so many experiences due to fear.
That’s some psychological horror. Could be a Black Mirror episode.

0·3 months agoI really need to watch Stargate. I’ve never gotten around to it, and seeing the fans and cast campaigning to #savestargate lately has been inspiring.
Without knowing anything about this show, I’m guessing the Shirley Temple looking girl is friendly and normie and the chess piece in the middle is old and nutty? Those are my two.
Or is it not how you pronounce Aristotle?

I wish.
