  • “False prophets are people who claim to speak for God or share divine truth, but instead spread lies for personal gain, pride, or evil purposes. The Bible warns that they look harmless on the outside—like sheep—but act with harmful intent. Opinions are mixed on whether they are completely evil or just deeply confused, but traditional theology views their deception as spiritually destructive.”

  • imagine doing web development for a living and calling yourself a ‘coder.’

you’re writing instructions for a web browser, not a computer, pal. you fear the computer and it’s language the same way you fear a black man from the islands when you venture through a bad neighborhood.

there isn’t even a proper analogy for vibe coding because it’s so lame. imagine showing up to a jazz club and wanting to sit with a band but all you brought was your laptop with suno but everyone else is playing a real instrument.

    are you a musician?

  • that’s only viable for people who make 50+k a year and spend like irresponsible assholes in a reasonable cost of living area.

if you’re closer to the poverty line, frugality ain’t gonna save you unless you live with your parents.

regardless, this rhetoric is just victim blaming. people should be able to enjoy a meal out a few times a week and some beer AND own a house even if they work as a janitor.

like, give me a fucking break.

  • sunscreen is a relatively modern thing. what a thoughtless post. asian women with a bob haircut can get away with shit like this because there’s always some geeky, american male who watched too many episodes of fruits basket to realize these women are just as fucking lame and stupid as your next door neighbor that thinks trump is the second coming of christ.

that’s just one aspect that ties into the real problem: we had so much ‘fuck the man’ and anti-corporate horseshit shoveled into our mouths, and look how the world turned out–it’s a corporate, gentrified hellhole.

not every gen-xer became ‘the man.’

but a sizable portion of the straight-laced, 100k a year set feel it on some level. the despair of 2026 america isn’t limited to certain demographics; when there’s a perpetual storm you’re bound to get wet even if you have an umbrella.

why would you compare the two? seinfeld is actually funny because it’s universal social observation. it’s a streetwise comedy of manners like curb your enthusiasm.

we’ve all been george when he leaves a dumb message on an answering machine and then stresses over it; we’ve all had touchy friends or acquaintances who cut ties for some petty reason. it’s often exaggerated, but it’s human and relatable.

i wouldn’t just question the taste of someone who doesn’t like seinfeld but i’d question how much awareness they have about everything going on around them.

some jokey sitcoms still hit–frasier and golden girls are witty. but most aren’t funny anymore and they weren’t all that funny in their day.

  • i’d hope you don’t get downvoted for pointing out the obvious.

people seem to think the internet is real life and forget that ‘progressive social media posters’ probably make up 1% of the population and then never leave the house on top of that. in real life, i’ve met more rabid skunks that quote oscar wilde.

  • this is a great sentiment if everyone around you is rational, intelligent and sophisticated. but they’re fucking not.

my mother terrorized my sister and i as children and everyone in the family knew about the abuse. but she’s ok.

me? i don’t get invited to the family BBQs because i experimented with psychedelics.

  • the craziest thing is how you’ll be prowling around wikipedia and find some entry about an unknown 14th century ruler who was physically deformed and couldn’t string a coherent sentence together.

and you laugh: look at those uneducated, slobby 14th century citizens who went with the flow of things.

then you see an interview with RFK jr. and you wave it away, because even if you notice how much he fits the profile, you think to yourself: “there’s someone in charge who would prevent this in 2026,” and get back to your tiktok feed of blonde influencers in nondescript luxury apartments showing off their morning routine.

"things are normal’, you keep telling yourself. there’s someone in charge who knows what they’re doing–some higher power to guide us.

nah, it’s only _______. but we’re not allowed to say that word.

pizza is one of the things that’s actually beat inflation. look up how much a pizza hut pizza cost in 1995 considering the prevailing wage at the time.

spoiler: a large cheese would cost $30 at menu prices adjusted for inflation.

you just get lower quality these days; it’s the same with so many other items. a pair of gap jeans was the same price in the late 90s as it is now even with a doubled minimum wage in NY.

but dipshits will gaslight you online being like, ‘actually, you’re just being nostalgic and nothing was ever better than it was now.’
