Ukraine@sopuli.xyz•“We Will Isolate Crimea in the Near Future,” Ukraine’s Drone Forces Commander Explains How
22·4 days agoI’m loving the Ukrainian military having a huge advantage right now, but I’m wary that this advantage will only last until the Russians figure out some kind of countermeasures.
Literally sneaking on board alien vessels, getting killed in droves to take over the ships, then other planets, was better than staying home and being replaced by AI.

California @piefed.social•Democrats narrowly avoid shutout in (closely watched District 50) Calif. House race (with Kiley-R and Pan-D)English
2·5 days agoActually, since one has to make it past the jungle primary, where less voters participate, it might actually easier for someone to advance, because they don’t have to reach as many voters.
Take Becerra, for example, going from polling 5% to 28% in a matter of weeks. He got a mysterious push from some unknown bot farm right after Swalwell’s scandal broke.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Good way to see all of your votes in a given community?
3·6 days agoGood question.
There are alternative web front ends for Lemmy.
I see you’re on lemmy.world, which has the photon alt-front end installed.
Go to https://photon.lemmy.world/ and log in
After you log in, look at the left column, and click on “Profile” which should be a the top left.
After you do that, in the center column, you should see a bunch of menu options: “Submissions Edit Blocked Credentials …”.
Click on the ellipses “…”
That should pull down a menu, and select “Downvoted”
It might take a while, but it should pull up all the posts and comments that you have downvoted.
You can’t filter by /c, or by post or comment, but there it is.

1·6 days agoI believe NYC subway, the famous Chicago overhead trains, and SF Bay Area’s BART system are classified as “heavy rail” so there is some hairsplitting going on, to allow them to say “we’re #1! (in light rail)”.
But it is a nice accomplishment. I wonder if there were special events that boosted their ridership just between March and April 2026, like the bar chart indicated?

10·7 days agoFor Operation Spiderweb, the truckers were unwitting participants. Instructing them to behave unusually would be treated with great suspicion.
A remote control truck would be very unusual in Russia right now.
