I just learned about a Chinese rival to OpenAI called DeepSeek. Gonna use that instead if I ever need to consult an AI lol.
edit: It does seem to lack some capabilities that Chatgpt has like proving links + when i ask when it will make certain updates to it’s application, it says “Hi! I’m DeepSeek-V3, an artificial intelligence assistant created by DeepSeek. For comprehensive details about our models and products, we invite you to consult our official documentation.”
I’ve been using deepseek a bit. Its better than trying to use google to look up answers
the search function on deepseek chat is also great.
