Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams left the International Space Station after nine months in space, checking out with two other astronauts. Their SpaceX capsule parachuted into the Gulf of Mexico in the early evening, just hours after departing the International Space Station. Splashdown occurred off the coast of Tallahassee in the Florida Panhandle, bringing their unplanned odyssey to an end.
This may be an unpopular thought, but if we’re giving hell to billionaires for using private jets then how can we justify all the resources it takes to get people to-and-from the ISS for a mission that only lasts a couple days? If musky took a weekend trip to the ISS people would lose it.
