I have no idea other than I use a VPN. I mostly scroll, occasionally reply/comment and rarely post. I don’t spam, use bots or APIs. I received no email nor explanation. Just can’t login permanently, and it’s not a credentials issue. Fuck Reddit.
VPN has been banned by most social media, REDDIT started doing it last year, they have been aggressively pursuing similar things like proxy servers too. people used this to heavily bot, and spam on reddit, plus they cant mine your data so all the social media made it useless.
