If you thought endlessly curling dumbbells was the only way to get jacked arms and build your upper body, think again. Yes, it may be one of the best ways, but it's not the only way. Calisthenics
I’m not a monk or religious at all. I haven’t posted any religious news articles, so I have no idea why you would think I’m religious. You seem to be confused about where you are. Calisthenics is a body workout. It has nothing to do with religion.
You broke multiple rules for this community and you brought politics (and now religion) into it even tho this community is just about calisthenics. There’s just no reason for you to bring your politics to this non-political, non-religious community.
I don’t know if it counts as universal, since I don’t think Lemmy is quite that serious of a platform just yet, but people should follow the rules the communities they’re in.
And one of the rules here is: Kindly be empathetic and kind to others. Trolling and spamming will not be tolerated. Making the community a friendly & supportive place is our goal. All of us are here for a short lifetime. Hope u have a nice time here :)
Which is a great rule!
But thanks for your support and hopefully everyone can stay on topic now.
holy sh!t, did I just watch you get into a fight where in you displayed the worst possible faith imaginable, get added as a mod to the community, so you could turn around and ban them for 24 hours? Somebody’s sensitive…
No, you didn’t see that at all. You saw me saving a dead community and bringing it back to life, while making sure that the existing community guidelines are being followed.
This is a great instance, with great admins, and I took over this unmodded community so that it could live up to the standards that the rest of the instance has.
That poster brought politics and name-calling into a fitness community that is non-political. The poster repeatedly broke the rules. Hopefully they can take the time to reflect and calm down.
And you don’t think you’ll be a lightning rod for more political targeting with that username of yours and the communities you frequently post in? What a hero
I don’t engage in political targeting though, and I don’t support that kind of behavior either.
This is a fitness-focused community, and politics (regardless of usernames, personal beliefs, or what other communities users post in) don’t belong here.
If some users feel the need to bring political grudges into this space, that reflects more on them than anyone else.
I’m here to contribute positively and stay focused on fitness. Let’s keep this community respectful and on-topic.
Thanks for your support and feel free to add your own posts to this community if you want to.

A very… Universal… response

It’s Universally obvious, I’ll tell you that much
I don’t what that means, but thank you, I guess. :)
