Can someone tell me how I feel about automated bot reposting from reddit to a forum named reddit mirror? Like I appreciate the straightforward honesty, but I feel gross. For context, I was browsing All to come across this (and I appreciate the content itself, just not so much the source)
Right now we need to be as united as possible, regardless of platform. This is an excellent way for us to continue to not support reddit while getting info on upcoming movements and events. It’s also easy for people who disagree with my reasoning to block the instance, which makes it better than having the normal 50501 community spammed with this.
If it was posted here first and then reposted on Reddiit, would that affect your opinion of it?
People here seem to enjoy that I sift through Facebook to find good stuff they wouldn’t see because they won’t use that. I give them the gold without the surveillance. This person is giving you a post you may enjoy without you having to participate in Reddit. If you appreciate it, that’s great, but if not, it’s not like it’s put here just to frustrate anyone or promote Reddit.
I wouldn’t be all too happy with the stuff here getting posted to reddit either. I want that site to collapse and die, though not as much as Facebook or X. I want people to choose ethics over convenience and dump the morally corrupt elitest sites.
But I realize that isn’t gong to happen, just my idealism, and right now there are bigger fish to fry.

It’s guys to have principles, but we can only really make ourselves shudder by them. Facebook is still a necessity for the groups I follow as they’re all either people giving away their photos for free or charities/non-profits that bed to reach the largest audience for free quickly and easily.
There’s room for all the platforms. Except X.
