Seems OP only ever has his phone touching his body / on a hard surface.
If you have it in a piece of clothing that isn’t touching you, like in a jacket pocket that’s not touching your stomach, or in a bag of some sort, a notification buzz without sound is easy to miss.
What exactly is it you’re having trouble understanding? When a phone is on vibrate, and it doesn’t touch you or a surface it can vibrate against, how the fuck are you supposed to notice it without the notification?
Like I said, you’re either a shit troll or a fat guy who doesn’t undestand this, because all his clothing is always tight, thus a phone in any pocket can be noted through vibration. That or it’s somewhere in your truck, which is made of hard surfaces, and thus you’ll be able to hear it vibrating. (I assume you have a truck, because I’m imagining a somewhat fat American.)
