Hi all, I made Artluni, a small app where you can get friendly critique on your photos. Full disclosure: it is my own project, no paid promotion.

A tip first, in case it is useful on its own: before you press the shutter, look at where the light is brightest in the frame and ask if that is where you want the eye to go. If not, move a step to the side or tilt your camera a little. Putting your subject near the brightest edge of the light, with a calmer darker area around it, often makes a photo feel more balanced than centering it.
