President Trump fell asleep at the 9/11 memorial ceremony.

The president dozed off at multiple points during the event Friday, slumped over in his chair with his eyes closed and his head hanging down while everyone else onstage—Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Melania Trump, and former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice—was clearly awake.

Another one, that is what, 36 times he’s fallen asleep at official functions with cameras on him. Or something like that I heard as of like a week ago.

The party is running the show, the president doesn’t know what is going on at this point and seems to be declining fast. He does have the best medical care in the world.

Probably getting daily injections of that little trafficked orphan juice shit that his Q buddies accused the opponents of rw extremism of drinking. After all, every accusation is a confession seems to have precious few exceptions with what I know.

That second photo… he’s definitely had a stroke right? Some photos from the last several months have shown that drooping side of his mouth and this one is pretty clear.

Sure looks like it. It could be Bells Palsey too though, an inflammation of the nerve going to one side of the face, caused by an inflammation a nerve from infection or a virus or unknown causes.

The way to tell, if it’s Bells Palsey, the eyebrow still works, if it’s a stroke, the eyebrow is frozen too.

🫂 I voted for someone in jail for wearing black.

Electoralists are really hounding you, when they should have ended First-past-the-post millennia ago.

It’s probably easier to just blame me than look at the absurdity of what Democrats did in 2024 and admit it to themselves.

As far as voting reform goes, the American people have been powerless to do that in any meaningful way for our entire history. The founders only gave wealthy, landowning men the right to vote. There was never any real intention for the poor or working class to be able to select a president. Our only real political power is local, and at least locally, good things are still possible. (For now.)

            Sure, Jan.

We’re just not gonna blame Kamala Harris for looking at a bunch of people who can’t afford groceries and insisting that we be joyful. Awesome, perfectly run campaign.

We’re gonna blame the guy who voted for a politician that he actually agreed with instead.

This definitely isn’t on me. It’s on you guys.

That’s your example why she would’ve been a bad choice?

“you guys”, as if even the whole of Lemmy (most of which probably aren’t even living in the US) would have been enough to make a different DNC candidate happen. I haven’t even seen anyone who says that they actually like Harris.

As if “liking” a candidate is a requirement for voting for them.

I was neutral on Harris, supported her party, and loved her running mate. And most importantly, loathed and recognized the danger in the alternative.

Of course, it’s just when you don’t see anyone liking Harris, it’s stupid to blame these people for the DNC picking an unpopular candidate. Unless a majority of US Lemmy users says they don’t vote in primaries or something.

Regardless of votes, remember who it’s really on. The ones who are playing us against each other. Yes, it’s also the fault of people who voted for him many times, and for those who split a vote where only two party voting would have given him a loss. AND for those who allowed the DNC to make so many bad choices. AND Harris for dropping what seemed to be a working campaign for a bit. AND… well, it goes on.

But it’s the ones laughing at the top. They’re the real problem. Never forget. They love to see this finger pointing at the bottom, it makes them feel safe.
