The Republican attorney general—and Senate candidate—is upset as Texas’s biggest county shatters early voting records.

Paxton’s lawsuit claims that a get-out-the-vote advertisement campaign from Harris County’s office essentially constitutes reverse racism because it encouraged Black and Latino voters (groups with historically lower access to elections) to vote. Harris County is Texas’s most diverse county, notably housing Houston.

      Their arguments against gay marriage are just so transparently hateful. I’ve seen people on FB try to claim the amendment is “unnecessary” as if the rest of us don’t realize that the maga bigots would ban gay marriage the very first chance they get. Gaslighting liars.
