I actually have Soviet Democracy on my bookshelf but haven’t gotten around to reading it yet.

I recently finished The Jakarta Method and am close to finishing Assata Shakur’s biography. I was gonna read The Wretched of the Earth next but I do want to participate in this…

The schedule is what I called progam. You will need Cowbee’s list open to make any sense of the numbers. The short version is to expect about 1-2 hours of reading (based on the numbers in the list) every week. And it will take 28 weeks

I’d like to join the ML reading group! I’ve been following it for over a year and would love to discuss with comrades

A lot of the material in there has already been recorded by me, and currently a lot of the audiobooks linked there are just text-to-speech / robot recordings.

I can’t join due to being busy with lemmy, but thx a ton for doing this, its a great effort.

I hope as many people join as possible! With that being said, I will also be participating, as I have not yet done a step-by-step readthrough myself. I will actively be looking for feedback on improvements. Primarily, I wish to ruthlessly cut what does not add tremendously to the guide, as I firmly believe the goal of this guide is to equip people with the basic knowledge needed to join an organization active in their areas, and carry on your studies with the party you join.

I also think this list will be very helpful both for new comrades that have not studied much, as well as comrades that have studied a lot. I have included lesser-read works that I believe deserve study and discussion. Each weak, I will give my thought process on why I included each work, why they have their place, and whether or not I think they should be taken out or replaced.

I will be reading everyone’s comments eagerly, and cannot wait to study alongside everyone!
