Superstar forward Auston Matthews has signed a four-year, $53-million contract extension with the Toronto Maple Leafs, the team announced Wednesday. The contract carries a league-high AAV of $13.25 million.

  Exactly my point. They’re going to play probably 60 games this year that are straight out of the 1980s in terms of scoring.
