Currently listening to “no human rights for arabs in israel” by Muslimgauze which was a British anti imperialist solo artist who was not Muslim himself but was disgusted at the state of the conflicts in the region with a particular focus on Palestinian rights.

I say was because he died before 9/11 but next time anybody asks why October 7th happened a quick glance at the output of this project( over 100 albums released before the died with plenty more posthumous releases as well apparently) tells you all you need to know with the earliest of these releases being in the early 80s.

That is to say the situation in Palestine, Iran, Afghanistan and the surrounding areas has been horrific for decades and people are suprised that Muslims would want to take up arms against the west? Everything i learn about the history of the west in West Asia makes then look more depraved and evil then imaginable.

As a big music lover my recent obsessions have turned me onto some intense anti imperialistic music including Muslimgauze and an album called " the fire this time" which js an electronic album featuring among other things a remix of an Aphex twin song that is actually an Audio documentary set to music which outlines the atrocities of the first Iraq war, absolutely heartbreaking hearing the fucked up things the west did to the country which should be called a genocide as they intentionally let children die, as Madelone Albrecht tells it “we.think the price was worth it” that quote it looped over the end of the album and is just a brutal compilation of ameikkkan/broader western nations crimes against humanity. And it also has a sample.of somebody saying they had a child tell them they would have preferred to be born a dog in america cause they would have been treated better and had a better life.
