    Too bad its the browser used by 98% of people, and many webapps will only run in chrome alone so those of us with any brain not using chrome are forced to use it for work.

      OK, arguably. But I would not suggest to approach your friends like that, to get them off it!

      If our goal is to move people off privacy invading tech, we can get more flies with honey than vinegar. If we approach ppl like, you’re an idiot! Well it’s just human psychology. Ppl entrench against you. They are much less likely to listen.

      We can get better results to come at them in a positive way. Be patient, explain the probs. Explain the future risks of big G controlling all browsers, and by extension, de-facto web standards. Give ppl alternatives. Point them to good online explanations of why not to use Chrome.

      We’re in an info overload world. Most ppl don’t have any idea about any of this stuff.
