Are you referring to how one can exist as Iranian and communist in America, particularly in Texas, or how can one be communist anywhere in Texas?
I know that DSA, PSL (I think), and CPUSA have grown extensively there in the last few years, but it’s also a very big area, and I don’t know how much the growth translates into actual presence there.
FYI, my friend in the DSA there is apart of the labor committee, I believe.
No. Just commenting that West Texas is sparse of any Marxist-Leninists. We are very far from anywhere, let alone the rest of Texas. It’s a very opportune part of the state that is chock-full of contradictions and characteristics that can be exposed to the daily Proles. There just is not an organized and efficient local movement to do so here.
I know we give Oil, Petroleum, and Gas a lot of shit here considering the effects on local & global environments. But, this area is full of Proletarians when combined with the local service and miscellaneous industries here. Not to mention the ‘gas-sale/market’ contradiction is bigger here.
