I’m not sure I’m fully on board with it, but a thought occurs to me.

(I’ve already think we can safely drop all reverence for 9/11 since those who were the biggest “vever forget” people didn’t give a fuck we were having the equivalent of one 9/11 per day for many months in 2020.)

So is it time to drop the taboos of toothbrush moustaches, swatikas, SS runes, and the name “Hitler”? Maybe we could reclaim them like we’ve done with the word “gay” (for example). Could we appropriate them for the opposite of what they stand for? How funny would it be if neo nazis couldn’t use their old symbols because it became like waving a pride flag.

No. Too many people still use that shit to signal their bigotry. If you start waving a rainbow swastika flag saying it’s a pride flag people will think you’re a queer nazi.

A while ago, the proud boys hashtag was appropriated for gay porn, and that worked because the org is small and easy to bully.

the supreme court said the same thing to protect trump and now 2/3rd of all the states can/will gerrymander elections – guaranteeing that the red team holds a majority for as long as this country exists.

Kind of proves that those names don’t mean anything to most people over there, historical acquittal

He reportedly beat rival candidate Lenin Vladimir Rodríguez Valverde after campaigning on the slogan “I’m the good Hitler”.
