I’ve been on Geodon for over four years now. At first it was great, but TD symptoms started about a year ago and now I’m getting EPS too. I think it’s time for a switch up. I’ve heard good things about Vraylar and Abilify, anyone else have experience? Seroquel is great for sleeping but the daytime zombiness is no good. I gained 15 pounds in a month on Xyprexa, will never do that again either.

    I’m not sure I have any good suggestions. I’m taking Buspar and Seroquel currently. Maybe try Buspar if you havent yet, as it seems good at managing anxiety and energy levels.

    I don’t get any zombiness from the Seroquel. In fact, its narcotic effect tends to wear off before sunrise for me (I woke up at 3:30 am this morning and I’m staying up).

    Careful with the Abilify. I had to recently stop taking it due to a strange internal restlessness it was causing. The simple act of sitting down was arduous because I could not get comfortable. I’ve never had any full-blown movement disorders, but it felt like a precursor to one. It was also making me agitated and just generally on edge.
