The exception is that He is the sacrifice, so followers of Christ no longer need to sacrifice animals to God (as the Jews did). Jesus said to follow the law (Old Testament/Torah). The Last Supper was a Passover Super. This “common knowledge” is an absurd manipulation of the Bible and 100% provably false.
