📣 It’s been a while since we’ve federated a batch of publishers — so to make up for it, here are 250, and they’re big ones.
Today, we’re bringing names like @abc, @RollingStone, @forbes, @BleacherReport, @NationalGeographic and @newyorktimes to the fediverse. They join the 174 profiles we’ve already federated, which include everyone from @19thnews to @Vox
Here’s a blogpost with more details on this latest batch of publications that cover news, business, cooking, home design, politics, sports, science and more. Follow their Magazine feeds if you’re only interested in one topic, or their whole profiles if you want the lot. The spreadsheet below lists out all federated accounts.

Nat Geo is now owned by Disney, which is heavy on censorship. It used to be great, but now is highly questionable.
@[email protected] They have a very tiny team these days as well, unfortunately, but we still do see some great stories from them! We have a lot of science publications federated if NatGeo isn’t for you — let us know if there’s one you particularly love!
@[email protected] Thank you so much. Much of their shows have been censored or removed by Disney and in some cases, I have to double-subscribe to see anything.
I love all sort sorts history (I learned a lot about the Gospel of Judas until that video was removed), and NatGeo got me interested in evolution, such as wolf-like proto-whales, how one strange creature branched out to evolve into horses, hippos, and elephants, and all the proto humans that did not make it (or not–homo sapiens bred them in)
@Moral_Gutpunch On the history front, we have @Smithsonianmag and we thought we had Atlas Obscura but it doesn’t seem to be there — will explore for you and let you know! We really like @KnowableMag (not a federated but active themselves on here!), @DiscoverMag and @ConversationUS (active on here at @TheConversationUS).
@[email protected] Federating @[email protected] would be great! @[email protected]
