The Rings of Power season 1 included many important characters from Tolkien’s canon Second Age, but there are still several more that could show up.

The ones I’m looking forward to the most are Anarion and Celeborn. While it would be great to have the Blue Wizards (with my preference being the Stranger being one of them), I think they’re just going with the Stranger=Gandalf theory. And I’m ok with that as well to be honest.

@Biotic Great choices! I’m also quite curious to find out what they’ve been up to. Bonus points if we get to meet Celebrian too.

And I agree with you on hoping The Stranger is actually a Blue Wizard, but being ok if he’s Gandalf. Adaptations make changes to suit the medium and so far I quite like what I’ve seen.

Ooh, I forgot about Celebrian, that’s a good one! My lack of knowledge is showing at the moment but was Celebrian definitely born at this point in time?

Seeing as they’ve compressed the timeline, it’s very likely but I guess we’ll find out in due time. Celebrian was born early in the Second Age and we seem to be in late Second Age now. She and Elrond marry at the beginning of the Third Age, so unless they want us to see Elrond’s future bride grow up on screen… Well, let’s hope Celeborn went missing in a Second Age battle.
