It’s all about feels and not about knowledge. He could think it means “be my bitches”, not a whole lot better, but colloquially it would make more sense. “I’m gonna own your asses” vs “you will be my personal harem of gay sex slaves”.

Gotta think this is yet another conservative who uses a word and doesn’t actually know what it means.
