Doesn’t Cherry Hills still have it?

I got followed from Cherry Hills into Englewood and pulled over. It was strange because they sat in front of me at a light after Englewood had been at my apartment the same night asking me for my unit number. So the Cherry Hills officer would not move to trigger the light. It took at least 15 minutes for another car to show up, so I could go through. He accused me of not passing him. I got ticketed for expired DL and pulled over for expired tags. They weren’t letting people in the Driver’s License office to renew. Same issue for vehicle registration. I even applied late and got my new DL online and because of that ticket my license ended up getting suspended. The case was dismissed in Arapahoe County Court.

I think, they are also pivoting to Axon license plate readers in a lot of Denver Metro. Which seems like a backdoor to the same issue.

However, it will get harder for Denver police to access data from those privately operated cameras.

Currently, police can search for information generated by any private Flock customer who has chosen to share information with law enforcement.

But “when the contract expires, that access ends,” Flock spokesperson Paris Lewbel wrote in an email.

Boo hoo. Let’s stop parroting their talking points
