Press Release: Over the past decade, Douglas has established a distinctive sculptural practice that transforms familiar objects into monumental works at the intersection of contemporary art, architecture and public space. On August 13, Douglas will mark a defining milestone with the unveiling of ‘Imagination Station’, her first permanent municipal public artwork. Commissioned by the City of St. Thomas, the sculpture will be installed at the gateway to Yarmouth Yards, the city’s new industrial park.
