ICE official, who was sleeping on man’s lawn and appeared ‘intoxicated’, faces felony charges, California police say

A 72-year-old man shot an off-duty Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) official in California early on Friday morning after the “intoxicated and agitated” official assaulted him and his daughter on their property, local authorities allege.

The Fresno police department said that the ICE official was receiving medical care after being shot in the midsection. The official, identified as David Gonzalez, is facing felony charges for assaulting the father-daughter duo, Fresno police said.

It was not immediately clear for how Gonzalez had been with ICE and what exactly he did for ICE. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), which oversees ICE, referred all questions about Gonzalez to Fresno police.

“Gonzales” is a hell of a last name for a hired ethnic cleanser in California.

There are more of us than them at any given time. It’s not illegal to kill your local ICE agents. Make them fear waking up in the morning.

No I didn’t. Can’t be charged with a crime when there’s no one left to report it.

Make Homeland Security start naming their “officers” after they’re dead. Spoiler alert, they won’t because the majority of them are J6ers, formerly dismissed cops, or convicted felons. No way Homeland will admit to hiring the absolute worst people for upholding immigration enforcement.

They admit it all the time. They’re proud of it. It’s how fascists brag about the power they’ve amassed.

    Straight to jail.

This is why journalism still exists in the US for now, and why the regime is trying very hard to kill it.

This is NOT true! That person was a PRETEND ICE Agent because REAL ICE Agents have IDENTIFICATION and PROTOCOL to Ensure they ARENT a Random Person KIDNAPPING CHILDREN and Murdering People!

He’s not a cop. He’s got some self control, restraint and a general unwillingness to commit murder.

They’re human. They represent the worst of humanity, but dehumanizing is their game, and it’s best not to play it.

Mmm nope, gonna have to disagree. Your statement is a demonstration of the paradox of tolerance in action.

Any ICE agent, at any time, can choose to no longer be an ICE agent. The people that ICEatzgruppen are targeting and repressing and brutalizing and deporting and killing cannot choose to not be targeted.

Fascists should be scared for their lives, always. The fact that they aren’t anymore, and haven’t been for at least a decade now, is a big part of how we got here.

Never said they should be tolerated. Being human doesn’t make them good or right; it’s just a reminder that they weren’t born different.

I’m not saying they’re good people. They’re the worst of us, but they aren’t doing anything humans aren’t capable of doing. Don’t trust them, but keep an eye on your own limits, too, as you don’t want to follow their lead.

I saw someone else say they think of it as “pest control” and I agree with every fiber of my being.

I don’t agree with your statements at all. It’s not a slippery slope to want to protect your fellow citizens from a modern Nazi SS

ETA: I bet others back in the 1930s Germany were saying/thinking the exact same as you are right now. And I’d tell them to fuck all the way off because of it.

“They’re human” is not the same as defending them. Kinda cringe to call someone a Nazi for refusing to dehumanize their enemy.

Nah, fuck off with that pussy bullshit.

Like I said in another thread about ICE fuckers, we need to make being an ICE agent bad for your health; i.e. make them scared for their fucking lives if they ever dare to set one foot out the door in public.

We need to be ganging up on every single agent anyone sees. People need to be able to jump in and get some hits in or else these fucking swine will never get smacked down to “our” level.

I’ve been counselled to make sure if you ever have to shoot someone that you empty the clip into them, as it implies you were pannicked , in fear for your life, and and not in control of the situation.

oh no, did I get the term wrong. So… I’m not a gun guy and am unlikely to become one. I dont really care what the proper term is. I’m going to just go with “bullet-holder”.

Right, but you’re kind of painting the person who advised you as an expert. That person is clearly not an expert, an expert would get the nomenclature right.

Shortly thereafter, the daughter’s boyfriend, an off-duty police officer, arrived and placed handcuffs on Gonzalez.

I guess luckily they had a police officer in the family? I can’t help but feel like things would have gone quite differently if they didn’t have relations with the local police force.
