Hello everyone, I’m new to driving and I want to get my license, I have a choice to pass it on a manual or automatic transmission.

When I saw people driving manual transmissions, I’m a little confused - is it really that hard? Damn, I’m scared that I need to be distracted by changing gears and the like.

But probably the main thing I’m afraid of is that I’ll have less control when leaving a parking space, or when there’s a car in front of me and I need to smoothly move forward, I have a feeling that the car might jerk forward or something like that.

Another possible strange fact is that all the pedals are almost the same size on a manual, while on an automatic the brake pedal is always bigger than the gas pedal.
