Hi all,

I’m making a new PC around a 9070 XT for 1440p gaming, with a budget of roughly £1,100 inc. VAT, excluding the cost of the 9070 XT.

Can you please review my parts list below and provide guidance?

• Do you think the 9700X is a good CPU choice?
  • It seems to be good value from my research, but I don’t know if it’s overkill for my needs
• Is a 1000W PSU overkill?
  • I saw reviews mentioning 400W power draw from the 9070 XT at times, and the manufacturer recommends at least 750W, so I figure this seems reasonable
• Would you swap any parts out?
