So I’ve been writing papers for undergrad and graduate students even though I myself don’t have a degree. I’ve always been able to analyze and extract information well and then produce a paper that usually nets an A with almost no problem.
I’ve recently begun writing for a student who is an active administrative assistant who works at the college and at first they paid me the going rate of $100, the second assignment rolls around and it’s $80. The past two papers I have written have netted me $40, and $35 respectively. Well below the average rate. I mentioned about the payment being low on the $40 dollar paper. They said they would make it up to me on the next paper. The final paper I have written as of today was larger than the $40 assignment and they ended up giving me $35. I mentioned it to them again and was met with radio silence. Even though they received a 100 for their paper in a 700 level class.
I’m considering just reporting the entire situation to the department of misconduct. I have no affiliation with the college whatsoever, in fact, I am a graphic designer that works independently.
tldr: someone is shorting me for my work even though they are getting amazing results, and WIBTA if I report this person?
