I (16F) started talking to this guy (28M) a few months ago. At first, he was really sweet and always complimented me on how mature I seemed for my age. He’d tell me how special I was, and I thought it was nice to have someone to talk to who made me feel good about myself. He even bought me some skins for Valorant and Roblox, which made me think he was just being kind.

But then, things started to feel off. He asked for more photos and started saying things like how “sexy” I looked. He even mentioned meeting up, and while I wasn’t sure, I didn’t shut it down right away. My best friend got worried and told me I needed to be careful, but I brushed it off. Eventually, my parents found out and made me block him. They were really upset, saying I shouldn’t have been talking to him in the first place.

Now, I’ve been thinking about reaching out to him again. He’s messaged me a few times, and part of me just misses the attention, and ti be honest, the gifts he gave me were super nice. But my parents and friends think it’s a bad idea. WIBTAH if I started talking to him again?
