From what I’m told, there are three different lots of Guinness barrels:

1. Only sold in and around Dublin.
2. Only sold everywhere else in Ireland, as well as the UK.
3. Sold as export to the rest of the world.

I’ve had options 2 and 3, and there is a very noticeable difference.
I can only imagine what yours tastes like, but I bet that if I ever tried it, I’d try to never leave Dublin again.
