Oh don’t get me started… they started their debut on Floppy Diskettes.

That’s the cheap kind that ruined your heads. The good head cleaner had a little hole near the spool to drip isopropyl alcohol onto the cleaning tape.

Got their CD when it first came out. The weirdest track ran along a ring of little brush tufts coming out of the CD surface. This band had some serious experimentalism happening.

You stick it in one of the little toothy holes. It’s a “ribbed for your pleasure” kind of deal.

IMO these are terrible, a qtip and some ipa work wonders. These usually cawe with some kind of ipa or acetone concoction that was way too aggressive and could damage your heads. Learned that the hard way

From what I recall Play Both Sides was their only album, but virtually everyone had a copy so they must have been pretty good!

That’s what you get from a one-hit-wonder. One Album tops and that’s it.

And even now they don’t get that. You listen to that one song that you kinda like then their album flops.

VCR Head Cleaner is great, but you’ve got to get it from the adult shop. Definitely get you open to bangin’ tunes!

Kind of sucks that my Commodore 1541 floppy drive (5.25" floppies) is giving me read/write errors, and I have no idea where I put my head cleaner floppy long ago. (Have to rely on SD2IEC on my Commodore 64, and it’s not compatible with some turbo loaders or other programs that do weird drive magic.) And, of course, while I might run into head cleaner tapes on specialty shops, good luck running into 5.25" cleaner floppies these days.
