    Qualifications to work for ICE:

    1. Wake up.
    2. Stretch.
    3. “Alrighty then, I work for ICE now.”

Then the government assisted in child kidnapping? Not a good look.

Maybe they shouldn’t be breaking up families just because they can. They are acting like inhuman monsters.

Was the mom here illegally? Baby should have citizenship right by default of born here.

Yep I see baby deported etc but what is the legal law pre trump era for such issue?

It seems like the baby wasn’t actually deported, but her mother was, and she took the baby with her. Since the government was handling the transportation, that’s considered deportation.

In reality, NONE of it is actually “deportation,” because that is a legal process that includes courts and judges, which MAGA Nazis illegally bypass. This is kidnapping and human trafficking, which is illegal, and following illegal orders is illegal.

IF we energe from this, it won’t be enough to prosecute the MAGA leadership like Puppy-Killer Noem and Pakled 1Homan. The individual MAGA ICE Gestapo agents should be prosecuted and serve multi-decade sentences in maximum security prisons for each case they were involved in. They are well aware of the illegality of their actions, which is why they wear masks.

It is important to make future potential seditionists know that they will not get off the hook because they were only following orders.

      This is insanity.

If the mother was going to court for a check in it seems like she was following the legal process.

I know there are often times when things like clerical errors could lead to ordered deported by mistake, but even then it was rare for people to be sent right away. Usually people could contact a lawyer and request a stay of removal while they challenge the issue.

You* were asking if this was business as usual before Trump.

Before Trump it was standard for someone doing a check in to be able to contact their lawyer if they were flagged for deportation.

      Exactly what it looks like.

A violent, racist, fascist movement has risen to power and controls the world’s largest econonomy and military and stockpile of nuclear weapons.

Our (Im fucking trapped here) government is actively threatening external invasions, actively enacting economic warfare against other nations, and actively repressing its own people.

      4th Reich, with American characteristics.

Which were borrowed from Nazi characteristics, which were borrowed from Confederate army characteristics, which were borrowed from the KKK movement, etc.

It’s a big circle jerk of fascism for hundreds of years that won’t fucking die, because we keep taking the fucking high road against fascists instead of lining them up against walls.

If its any consolation, the last time I encountered a guy with a MAGA hat, the following happened:

MAGA bro decides to pick a fight with what I can only describe as the most Rasta man I’ve ever seen.

MAGA bro has 2 bros with him… the Rasta man has the entirety of the Capitol Hill District of Seattle.

This doesn’t go well for MAGA bro, Rasta man ends up flipping his hat off into the middle of the street as basically 30 other people are ready to throw down with the MAGA bros, chasing them down the block.

Rasta man is furious, picks up the hat and walks across the street toward me, who happens to be smoking a cigarette, gets to me and a few others, ‘Can you believe this shit? You saw all that yeah?’

… I have a zippo, and was outside of the smoke shop… to purchase lighter fluid.

I show the zippo and the fluid to the Rasta man, he smiles ear to ear, ‘You know what to do!’, throws down the hat, and I burn it to nothing inside of a plot of dirt that used to have a sidewalk tree.

… One of the couple of times in my life random people unironically called me (and Rasta man too of course) a hero.

I am not making this up.

I have no idea how I could possibly prove that this happened but… yeah.

I’ve had a rather eventful life, and am at this point used to people just not beleiving half the shit that has happened to me or that I’ve done.

I guess with this one, I don’t blame you, it basically falls into the ‘and everybody clapped’ story mold but… yeah, up to you I suppose.

If the law meant anything at all in the US, someone would go to jail for this.
