As someone who lives in a country where the vast majority of people hate LGBTQIA+, i disagree that its easy to come to the opposite conclusion. Propaganda is powerful
If the post was true, it wouldnt have been so easy to separate them based on age or internet usage; there wouldnt have been such drastic change from country to country
Almost all people i have met in my country dont even know what trans people are, only that they are bad
